Woah!! Its a great News for the Nokia lover’s also to me. Coming to the topic Nokia dropping plans of releasing the Symbian^2  now, rather all geared up to release the Symbian^3 (with full multi-touch and gestures support) devices this Q3. That’s not all even the upgrade to the Linux based OS “Maemo 5” is going to get a newer version called the “Maemo 6 ” which is Qt based , launching mid 2010. Looking forward for the releases , fingers crossed. The devices running on Symbian^4 will be out by early 2011.  As said by  Nokia Taiwan’s general manager Michael Hsu.

Also an important and really cool feature of Maemo 6 and symbian ^4 are , they both offer Qt cross-platform application development framework, Which mean’s apps developed for one platform works fine for both the platforms. So as we can see a great development of apps and games for the Upcoming Nokia phones running with Symbian^4 and Maemo 6.
