Nokia N97 PR 3 and Nokia N97mini PR 2 firmware in works. Something big coming with it.?

Remember Yahoo powered Ovi chat? This is just the story of it, where when you look at the compatibility list you’ll get a hint of new firmware coming to the N97 (ie. PR 3) and N97mini (PR 2) which simply means better; this is going to be a major update and this might integrate new Yahoo powered Ovi Chat with it.

This news might not interest many, but there are millions of users who still use one of these phones, this might just be a good news for all of em.

PS : Mostly expecting QT integration with these phones and other bug fixes and performance fix.

I´m waiting impaciently for this new FW for N97. I hope it solve some of the problems and give a little pride putting $700 on it. Nokia: “Hit me!”

And you base all this on a misprint on Nokias web page? This happened in June as well and all you bloggers went balistic, now the story repeats itself, one geek spreads the rumour and all the rest of you jump on the bandwagon without checking sourcing or talking to anyone who’d actually know something.

I don’t think they will do any much better even that is always possible, because they fear affect selling of newer devices like n8,c6, e7, where they depend on earning from this devices, it’s because new windflower over other OS’s, but nokia have to consider that, if they do not make better update for this phones, we may rather run for new other devices than this crazy mono fixed focus devices.
