Now, i guess those crazy people there would settle. Recently, in an interview with Phone Scoop, Nokia Executive and Board Member Niklas Savander confirmed that Nokia’s new deal with Microsoft gives Nokia nearly unlimited freedom to customize Microsoft’s Windows Phone smartphone software.

The catch here – He also said that the company plans to avoid making changes that would delay OS updates from Microsoft reaching Nokia customers.

So, Nokia customizations to Windows Phone will generally fall into two categories:

1. High-level customizations that are easy to bring to new OS versions from Microsoft.

2. Deep customizations that will be implemented in cooperation with Microsoft, folded into the OS, and made available to competing manufacturers.

So, it is simply clear that, NOKIA WILL NOT ADOPT WP7 AS IT IS. This must calm down many confused and crying souls there. It’ll be good to wait and watch how Nokia does this. And this is turning out to be better than i thought. Would be really excited to see how the UI finally tastes. Ingredients and that Magic portion will be added by Nokia. Hmmmm, must be yummy!

Check out the concept device that the firm’s design engineers have produced. This is not the final product picture, but just an idea of how things in future must look. Impressed? Me – Yes. You – ?
