He has been the biggest inspiration for many and definitely to me. Marketing genius. God of CEOs! Let us remember this legend by his quotes. This post is dedicated in memory of the crazy man who changed the world. If not him, no one else.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do,” he told the Stanford grads in 2005.
“If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.”

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.”

“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”

“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.”

“.. almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

“Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?”

“Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.”

“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”

“There are no failures – just experiences and your reactions to them.”

“Courage is the discovery that you may not win, and trying when you know you can lose.”

“If you only do what you know you can do- you never do very much.”

“I’ve learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.”

“I’ve learned that making a “living” is not the same thing as making a “life.”

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”

Long live his passion, his ideals, love for the technology and our life shall be beautiful, yet again. RIP, crazy man!
