Yeh finally. FINALLY got a chance to play with “The Nokia N8″. In simple the phone looked A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

Okay coming to the story , Yesterday while hanging out with my friends me with my eagle eyes spotted the N8 at Mantri Square Bangalore. Then the play started. I was so excited that i forgot what to test and what not to test or check out, i was totally lost inside the phone to be frank! :P

Look & Feel

The device is quiet huge. I’d say wide and tall. The build quality is excellent. And the quality of material used is superior. Got to say that N8 is designed to perfection. It was kind of tough to get adjusted to the Menu key which is present at the bottom left. But guess what it fits my hand perfectly! ;)

Symbian^3 – Symbian is one of the most simple and customizable OS ever. N8 has 3homescreens which i feel is quiet sufficient for me. I don’t wanna have 10 homescreens and slide 10 freaking times to find something. Okay the phone has kinetic scrolling all over. Had issue with touch, the phone did not react that well, but the phone which i tested was a prototype, and it did not run on the final firmware, so the retail version will have optimized phone’s Software and hardware.

I was just so much waiting to check out the N8’s Camera. And undoubtedly i say Nokia N8’s cam is gona kick some serious butt. The world is going to talk about N8’s camera performance.

Multi-tasking was too great! 256MB RAM not so WOW.

12MP Carl Ziess optics, HDMI port , USB port, the gorgeous screen. This is gona be a MULTIMEDIA MONSTER.

That is mostly what i checked. Waiting to meet the device once again soon. Watch out for more. And by that time do check out this video which i recorded using Nokia X6.

Nokia N8 Hands On India

Note to Nokia : Bring this phone As Soon As Possible. The wait is killing a lot of Nokia fans and the Non Nokia fan’s as well.
