So, tonight’s entertainment. Say hello to the punchy Nokia Lumia 900!

Initial reaction. Wow, wait. Woah! It’s just illegal to hate somethings in life, the Lumia 900 is one such thing.

When Nokia announced the white version of already available Nokia Lumia 900, that’s when I wanted to own it. For real. Glad to be using one at this moment. This is a loaner device though. Doesn’t matter. I have this wonderful looking device with me now!

Keeping aside the design story, let’s see what does the device has to offer.

Lumia 900 is equipped with a 4.3 inch WVGA AMOLED Clear Black with a pixel density of 217ppi. What powers the device is a single-core [:)] 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor with 512MB of RAM. 16GB internal memory aboard. Carl Ziess 8MP AF camera with f/2.2 and an LED flash at the back. Does 720p video capture at 30fps. Also hosts, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera for video calling and to take duck faces of self. An 1830mAh battery keeps the phone running. This global variant comes with a DC-HSPA over US LTE version.

Windows Phone OS controls them all. Sometimes, it even does troll!

I’m sure the Lumia 900 is designed to provide better overall experience, or say features that was missing in the Lumia 800. Watch out for a detailed review, later!

Its fast, superbly designed. Nokia even has their own WP7 apps section, love the content there. The display unit on this device is simply stunning, best I’ve tried in recent times. Good to be back to Windows Phone phone for some reasons. It’s simple and satisfying at most places. Yet, there’s lot more work to be done here. On the OS front. Alright, let me save some rantings for the review! I’m thrilled to use the phone!

Do let me know if you have any question regarding the Lumia 900! Cheers.
